Abbie cleared up the fact that she's no longer in contact with Matt since being booted from the show.
"I've said this multiple times in interviews and on podcasts, but I guess I haven't said it here. I've not spoken to Matt. That's it. That ended in May," Abbie said.
When asked about how she feels towards Chelsie, she confirmed that they are still good friends and that she's hoping to see her in Melbourne this weekend.
"Chelsie and I still talk," Abbie said. "Yeah, I love Chelsie."
Abbie also addressed who she believes should be cast as the star of The Bachelor for the next season of the show.
"I think it should be someone new. Matt was a really good bachelor. He was a newbie, and people responded well to him. I don't know really care," Abbie added.
Abbie's remarks come after Chelsie broke her silence on the breakup in her Instagram Stories last night.
"Yeah, look, it's definitely been rough," Chelsie said. "I do not deal with heartbreak well. My heart is broken. And heartbreak sucks."
Chelsie also hosed down speculation that anything dramatic contributed to the relationships' demise.
"A lot of you want to know what exactly happened with Matt and I. I am going to respect Matt's privacy and not go into details. There aren't really any. Nothing bad happened. I guess it's just a hard situation that takes two people with a really strong connection to get through," she said.
