Home and Away stars reportedly dating
In news that will thrill Home and Away fans, a new report has claimed actors Sophie Dillman and Patrick O’Connor dating - and we KNEW there was no denying that on-screen chemistry!
In news that will thrill Home and Away fans, two of our favourite on-screen loves have reportedly taken their romance into real life. According to a new report, the actors that play our beloved Ziggy and Dean are currently dating, and now their on-screen chemistry makes complete sense.. A new report from Confidential shared the news on Friday, stating that actors Sophie Dillman and Patrick O'Connor have in fact been dating for several months. The publication said the pair had started off as workmates and "close friends", which then turned into a full blown romance . According to a friend of the pair, the couple found common ground in a shared loved for the outdoors, and both hailed from Queensland. Sounds as good as any recipe for romance! It seems there's a reason we've been kept in the dark about this until now as well - according to the source, the pair are "super private" and "want to keep it between them as much as possible." That much has certainly been made clear. While the pair have been spotted at various events together, there's been no suggestion of a real-life romance between them. That being said, there's no denying how happy and carefree they seem when they're together - that is, when their Summer Bay-based characters aren't at loggerheads. In June, the pair attended the TVWEEK Logie Awards together - an exciting night for Sophie who was nominated for Most Popular New Talent. Speaking to TVWEEK , Sophie confessed she was shocked to be recognised. "It kind of all just hit me now and I'm a bit speechless," Sophie said. "It's a bit surreal." The 25-year-old actress added how much she loves being on the staple Aussie television show, saying of her debut: "I was just so happy to be there." "There are no egos on set and everyone just gets on with the job." Patrick, who made his debut on the show in early 2018 as the new River Boy has also opened up about being on the show, telling TVWEEK : "I'm aware that the River Boy role gets a bit of attention, but I don't think about it." "Sometimes fans come to watch us film and it can be a little nerve-racking. For the most part, it's fine." The new Home and Away real-life couple aren't the only ones who've striked up a romance when the cameras are switched off. Earlier this year James Stewart and Sarah Roberts, whose characters have also had a romance on the show, were married in a gorgeous ceremony in Ireland. Forget The Bachelor , perhaps a coveted role on the Channel Seven show is all you need to find real life love..
