Glen Attenborough and Steven Turnbull from Trojan Trays are calling on local businesses to give the Salvos a hand this Christmas.
Trojan Trays has teamed up with the Salvation Army to see just how the Orange business community can help the Salvos this Christmas.
We've just gone to the Salvos to asked how we can help with what they do every year anyway, said Trojan Tray managing director Steven Turnbull.
All we are doing is a little bit of the legwork. We have a pretty big network of people that the Salvos may not have connection with, so we have a few businesses around town lined up to go purchase some gifts, bring them back here and then we are going to donate them on the 18th of December. The Salvos do a very good job, so if can help by getting them a few bits and bods together then that's what we'll do.
But they can always do with more, said Steven, who asks any businesses out there interested in helping out the Salvos to get in touch.
There are are a lot of businesses that do stuff already and we trying to build our little army of businesses who can band together for this now and we want to do other things in the future, he said.
They can contact us directly on 63610039, and either get what they think is needed or they can call here and we can have a chat about what we've got already and what else we think we need.
Then we'll bring it around here and on the 18th we go down to the Salvos and drop it all off.
